SCDF's Fire Stations will not be hosting the weekly open house until further notice. An update will be provided on the resumption of the visitation programme at a later notice.

Booking of consultation services for Civil Defence Shelter, Fire Code, Hazardous Material and Site Inspection will be available online from 1 Dec 2023. Please visit SCDF E-Services to book appointments online.

W.e.f. 1 Apr 2024 onwards, refresher training for Fire Station Emergency Medical Technicians will be enhanced and the In Camp Training period will be extended from 19 to 23 days. Please check with your Deputy Commander Fire Station or unit for more info.

Clause 9.6 Operation Control Centre

9.6.1 Operation control centre (OCC)

a. Fire separation

The OCC shall have a fire separation of at least 2 hrs from other areas. It shall be provided with dedicated access/ exit from/ to the external via enclosures having a fire resistance of at least 2 hrs.

Note: The protected enclosure is not necessary if the access/ exit is direct from/ to the external.

b. Power supply

Equipment of OCC essential for the operation of trains and the tunnel ventilation system shall be provided with secondary power supply.

c. Ventilation

The OCC shall have the same ventilation requirements as the FCC.

d. Hotline

A hotline shall be provided between the OCC and SCDF Operations Centre.

e. Standby OCC

The above requirements of OCC shall apply to the standby OCC, where provided.
