Home Affairs Senior Executive (HASE)

The Home Affairs Senior Executives (HASE) form the middle and senior management in MHA. As a HASE, you will provide vital support for executive and policy decisions with critical examination, and analysis of all factors relating to the formulation and implementation of policy. You are also responsible for overseeing projects under implementation. You will also be exposed to a wide range of work in different MHA departments through regular postings.

Entry Requirements

  • A pass degree* in any discipline
  • Experience in the relevant areas of work will be an advantage
  • Good organisational and management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

* In general, degrees accredited by the government of the home country where the university originates will be considered for  employment into the Public Service.

Extended Management Executive Officer

As an extended Management Executive (e-MX) officer,  you will be deployed in different departments of the Singapore Civil Defence Force to assume various responsibilities. You will perform supporting roles in five broad functional areas: Line Operations, Human Resource Management, Finance & Corporate Services, Public Affairs Management or Research & Information Support. 

Entry Requirements

  • NITEC / Higher NITEC / GCE O-Level / GCE A-Level / Polytechnic Diploma*
  • Relevant working experience will be an advantage
  • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

The Home Team Specialist Scheme aims to develop a core group of specialists with deep technical knowledge and/or skills, as well as a strong appreciation of Home Team operational work. Technical Support Officer

As a Technical Support Officer, you will assist Engineers in conducting feasibility studies, system administration, data administration, network administration, communications administration, project management, fault management, performance management, security management, system development, vendor evaluation, project implementation or system maintenance/repair, etc. In addition, you are required to co-ordinate support activities, provide technical support for new equipment and conduct in-house training programs.

Entry Requirements

A local polytechnic Diploma in Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Technology or related field.
