Why should I participate in the challenge?
You will have an exciting opportunity to learn to code and how to use it for good. You can also gain a better understanding of how we might shape our Singapore together, the current resource constraints and how SCDF can use technology to overcome them. Moreover, you stand a chance to win up to S$10,000!
Who can participate in this competition?
University
Undergraduate, Junior College and Polytechnic students are welcome to
participate.
*Students in
their final year of the above (graduating in year 2023) are welcome to join
Where and when can I sign up?
Registration close on 24 May 2023, 2359hrs.

How many members can I have on my team?
A team would consist of 3 to 5 members. If you do not have a full team of 3 to 5, you can sign up individually and we would mix and match you with other participants upon registration.
Are team members required to be in the same year or studying in the same faculty?
No, students are free to decide on the team composition.
Are we allowed to change team members during the competition?
If changes to team members are required due to valid reasons, it will be subjected to the Organiser’s approval.
What happens after signing up?
We will send you an email with more information on what you can look forward to for this innovation challenge and the submission guidelines to aid in your submission process.
What is the evaluation criteria for the challenge?
Teams will be assessed primarily on their creativity, analysis of problem and implementation of strategies. Detailed matric will be shared once the problem statement is disclosed.
