Civil Defence Shelter Opens at Woodlands MRT Station

On 11 January 2020, SCDF organised an exclusive guided tour of the MRT Civil Defence (CD) Shelter at Woodlands MRT Station. The event was graced by Mr Khaw Boon Wan, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Minister for Transport. At the exhibit, SCDF officers facilitated the public with valuable lifesaving skills such as Improvised first Aid Skills Plus (IFAS+), how to conduct Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). Participants who attended the event were presented with a limited edition SCDF souvenir in the form of a mini torchlight.
