- An HFAD provides early warning of a fire. It is mandatory for new residential premises and existing residential premises carrying out fire safety works to install HFADs.

[With Video] In Conversation with Award-Winning Filmmaker, SCDF NSF PTE Jastine Tan

Meet SCDF’s full-time National Serviceman (NSF) PTE Jastine Tan, a winner of not one but two prestigious awards at a recent short film competition hosted by cINE65. cINE65 is an initiative launched by Nexus in July 2011 with an aim to capture our Singaporean identity through the lenses of local aspiring filmmakers.

Jastine’s short film entitled, ‘My Homeland: A Photography Project by Grandpa Chen’ was awarded the Best Overall Film and the Movies Makers Award. Jastine is an active member of the SCDF’s Media Production Unit (MPU), Corporate Communications Department (CCD).
