The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be conducting a marine deployment exercise with the support of several related agencies at Marina South Pier on Tuesday, 8 March 2022. The exercise will begin at 2.30pm and end about 6.00pm.
Such exercises are part of the SCDF’s on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and procedures with the related agencies. About 20 emergency and supporting vehicles, including marine vessels from SCDF and related agencies, will be deployed in the exercise.
As the exercise will be conducted within the confines of Marina South Pier, there will not be any road closure. Members of public can expect SCDF vehicles to be stationed along Marina Coastal Drive. The public is advised not to be alarmed. Signage will be placed in the immediate vicinity to alert members of the public of the exercise.
