Operational Exercise at Downtown East on 26 April 2018
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be conducting an operational exercise at Downtown East (1 Pasir Ris Close) on Thursday, 26 April 2018. The exercise will begin at 12.30am and end at 3.00am.
About 110 personnel and 14 emergency and supporting vehicles will be participating in the exercise. Such exercises are part of the SCDF’s on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and procedures.
As the exercise will be conducted within the premises, there will not be any road closure or traffic disruption.
The public is advised not to be alarmed. All operational vehicles participating in this exercise will have their beacon lights switched on to alert motorists. Signage will also be placed in the vicinity to alert members of the public of the exercise.
