Measures for DORSCON Orange
In view of the ongoing developments with regard to the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCOV), we are taking additional precautionary measures.
Visitors to the Civil Defence Heritage Gallery & Emergency Preparedness Centre and participants of the Community Emergency Preparedness Programme will subjected to temperature screening. Our personnel will also take note if you are displaying respiratory symptoms such as cough, runny nose and shortness of breath. If you are feeling unwell, we urge you not to attend the programmes. Our personnel will also be collecting details such as your name, contact number and date & time of visit for contact tracing purposes.
These additional measures will allow SCDF to mitigate the potential risks in large group or communal activities.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and may implement further measures should the situation escalate.
