- An HFAD provides early warning of a fire. It is mandatory for new residential premises and existing residential premises carrying out fire safety works to install HFADs.

The authorities are aware of Malaysian news reports yesterday on the discovery of more waste dumping sites in Pasir Gudang, Johor. Notwithstanding this latest development, Singapore’s air and water quality, as well as our water supply, continue to remain unaffected.
