Tanglin Mall Incident

SCDF was alerted to a case of an incident at 163 Tanglin Road, Tanglin Mall. SCDF resources which included 1 Fire Engine and 3 ambulances were immediately dispatched to the incident site.

The fire involved an electrical box inside a switch room located at the ground level of Tanglin Mall. The fire was extinguished prior to SCDF"s arrival.

As a result of this incident, 5 male individuals were conveyed to Singapore General Hospital for medical treatment.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
