SCDF Operational Exercise off Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal

SCDF, supported by the Police Coast Guard (PCG) and Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), will be conducting a marine deployment exercise off Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal and at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal on Tuesday, 6 June 2017. The exercise will begin at 2.30 pm and end at about 5.30 pm.

Such exercises are part of SCDF"s on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and procedures with agencies like PCG and MPA. 5 SCDF Marine Vessels together with 2 PCG Vessels and 1 MPA Vessel will be deployed in this exercise.

The public is advised not to be alarmed. Exercise signage will also be placed in the vicinity to alert members of the public to the exercise.
