SCDF Operational Exercise at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be conducting a marine deployment exercise with the support of several related agencies at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal on Thursday, 11 January 2018. The exercise will begin at 2:00 pm and end about 5:30 pm.Such exercises are part of the SCDF"s on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and procedures with the related agencies. About 35 emergency and supporting vehicles, including marine vessels from SCDF and related agencies, will be deployed in the exercise.As the exercise will be conducted within the confines of Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, there will not be any road closure or traffic disruption.The public is advised not to be alarmed. Signage will be placed in the immediate vicinity to alert members of the public of the exercise.
