SCDF Operational Exercise at Changi City Point

SCDF will be conducting a ground deployment exercise at Changi City Point, 5 Changi Business Park Central 1 S(486038), on Thursday, 24 May 2012 . The exercise will begin at 0500hrs and will end at about 0700hrs.

Such exercises are part of SCDF"s on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and procedures. In total, about 160 personnel and about 20 SCDF emergency and supporting vehicles will be participating in this exercise.

All SCDF vehicles participating in this exercise will have their beacon lights turned on to alert motorists. Exercise signages will also be placed at prominent locations to keep members of public informed of the exercise.

The public is advised not to be alarmed.
