SCDF Operational Exercise at Ang Mo Kio Hub

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be conducting a ground deployment exercise at the Ang Mo Kio Hub, 53 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 S(569933) on Thursday, 4 July 2013. The exercise will begin at 2.00am and end at about 4.00am.

Such exercises are part of SCDF"s on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and procedures. About 150 personnel and 20 emergency and supporting vehicles will be participating in the exercise.

The public is advised not to be alarmed. All SCDF vehicles participating in the exercise will have their beacon lights switched on to alert motorists.

Exercise signage will also be placed at prominent locations to alert members of public to the exercise.
