Road traffic accident at Junction of Tuas South Ave 3 and 5

At 0820hrs, SCDF received a call alerting us of a road traffic accident at above mentioned location. 5 ambulances, 2 mini vans and 1 fire engine were immediately dispatched to the incident location. Upon arrival, the paramedic reported that a Trailer had collided with a 40-seater private bus. As a result, there were a total of 28 casualties but no one was trapped.

Among the injured, 13 casualties were conveyed to National University Hospital (2 with head injuries and 11 with minor injuries) and 15 casualties with minor injuries were conveyed to Alexandra Hospital.
