Operational Exercise at The Clementi Mall

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be conducting an operational exercise with the support of the Singapore Police Force (SPF) at The Clementi Mall on Friday, 9 February 2018. The exercise will begin at 1:30am and end at 4:30am.

 

About 120 personnel and 18 emergency and supporting vehicles will be participating in the exercise. Such exercises are part of the SCDF"s on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and procedures.

 

To facilitate the movement and deployment of the emergency vehicles, one lane of Commonwealth Avenue West will be closed to traffic. The lane closure will be in effect till the end of the exercise.

 

The public is advised not to be alarmed. All operational vehicles participating in this exercise will have their beacon lights switched on to alert motorists. Signage will also be placed in the vicinity to alert members of the public of the exercise.
