Operational Exercise at Jurong Gateway

SCDF will be conducting a ground deployment exercise at Jurong Gateway on Wednesday, 8 July 2015. The exercise will begin at 1:30am and end at about 3:30am.

This exercise ispart of SCDF"s on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and procedures. About 150 SCDF personnel and 25 emergency and supporting vehicles will be participating in the exercise.

The public is advised not to be alarmed. All operational vehicles participating in this exercise will have their beacon lights switched on to alert motorists. Exercise signages will also be placed in the vicinity to alert members of the public to the exercise.

To facilitate the movement and deployment of our emergency vehicles, one lane will be closed along Jurong Gateway Road. The lane closure will be in effect from 1:30am till the end of the exercise.
