Notice of SCDF Operational Exercise at Singapore Sports Hub on 22 May 2015

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be conducting an operational exercise at the Singapore Sports Hub on Friday, 22 May 2015. The exercise will begin at 0145hrs and end around 0400hrs.

Such exercises are part of the various agencies on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and procedures. In total, about 400 personnel and 44 emergency and supporting vehicles will be participating in the exercise.

All operational vehicles participating in the exercise will have their beacon lights turned on to alert motorists. Exercise signage will also be placed within the exercise vicinity to alert members of the public to the exercise.

The public is advised not to be alarmed.
