Multi-Agency Emergency Exercise at Singapore Sports Hub
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and several other agencies will be conducting a multi-agency emergency exercise at the Singapore Sports Hub including Kallang Wave Mall on Friday, 24 April 2015. The exercise will begin at 2200hrs and end around 0200hrs on 25 April 2015.
Such exercises are part of the various agencies on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and procedures. In total, about 200 personnel and 15 emergency and supporting vehicles will be participating in the exercise. During the exercise, thunderflashes, smoke and fire simulation will be used. All operational vehicles participating in the exercise will have their beacon lights turned on to alert motorists. Exercise signage will also be placed within the exercise vicinity to alert members of the public to the exercise thereforethe public is advised not to bealarmed.
