Marina Bay Fire Station is in operation

The Singapore Civil Defence Force"s (SCDF) 18th fire station - Marina Bay Fire Station (MBFS) will commence operations on Saturday, 17 November 2012 at 8.00am.

Located along 70 Marina View, MBFS is strategically placed within the Central Business District (CBD). Emergency response within the CBD area was formerly covered by Central Fire Station, located along Hill Street.

MBFS will begin its operations with a fleet of 7 emergency vehicles, comprising 2 fire engines, 2 Light Fire Attack Vehicles , 2 fire bikes and 1 ambulance.

With this latest development, SCDF emergency services will be provided through an island-wide network of 18 fire stations and 26 fire posts.
