- An HFAD provides early warning of a fire. It is mandatory for new residential premises and existing residential premises carrying out fire safety works to install HFADs.

Jurong Island Incident: Update

At 1940 hrs, no further traces of vapour were detected by SCDF responders. SCDF has withdrawn its resources from the junction of Sakra Road and Jurong Island Highway and handed over the management of the incident site to JTC.
