Fire involving contents of a living room

At 1145 hrs, SCDF received a call alerting us to a fire at Blk 135 Lorong Ah Soo. Upon receiving the notification, SCDF resources which includes 1 Fire Engine, 1 Red Rhino, 1 Supporting Vehicle and 1 Ambulance were immediately dispatched.

SCDF arrived at the location within 7 minutes. The SCDF firefighters immediately conducted forced entry into the unit on the 9th floor. The unit was heavily smoke logged and one section of the living room was found to be on fire. SCDF firefighters immediately extinguished the fire. Simultaneously, SCDF firefighters conducted search and rescue and saved 1 female Chinese and two children found in the master bedroom.

Fire involved contents in a living room of area measuring approximately 3 m x 2 m. The fire was brought under control within 15 minutes. The three occupants were sent to SGH due to suspected smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
