Fire involving a car which had rammed into a tree

At 2114 hrs, SCDF Control Room received a call informing of a car on fire at Loyang Ave (near bus-stop B14). SCDF resources which include 1 Fire engine, 1 Red Rhino,3 Support Appliances and 1 Ambulance were dispatched and arrived within 4 minutes.

On arrival, the crew reported that the fire had engulfed the whole car.

SCDF crew brought the fire under control within 10 minutes.

The car was totally destroyed and 3 charred bodies which were burnt beyond recognition were found in the wreckage. SCDF crew extricated the victims from the wreckage.
