Fire at No. 2 Ang Mo Kio St 64

At 0448hrs, SCDF was alerted to smoke-logged situation at No. 2 Ang Mo Kio St 64. Upon receiving the notification, 2 Fire Engines, 1 Red Rhino, 2 Fire Bikes and 3 Support Appliances were dispatched immediately to the incident site.

SCDF found units on the fourth and fifth floor to be heavily smoke-logged and promptly carried out ventilation. SCDF also conducted forcible entry to gain access to unit #04-03A. The SCDF fire fighters found contents of the unit on fire and extinguished it with the use of 2 water jets.

There was no report of any injuries. The cause of fire is under investigation.
