Fire at Blk 303, Anchorvale Link

SCDF was alerted to a case of fire at Blk 303, Anchorvale Link, Coffee Shop below Multi-Storey Carpark at 0745hrs. 2 Fire Engines, 1 Red Rhino, 2 Fire Bikes, 1 Ambulance, 1 Support Vehicle were immediately dispatched.

Upon SCDF"s arrival, fire was well alight inside the coffee shop and involved three stalls. SCDF personnel equipped with breathing apparatus immediately deployed two water jets and brought the fire under control within 15 minutes. Concurrently, SCDF personnel conducted search operations at the multi-storey carpark above the coffee shop as a precautionary measure. Fire was extinguished within half an hour.

About 20 people within the premises had self-evacuated prior to SCDF"s arrival.

There were no reported injuries and the cause of fire is under investigation.
