To help businesses reduce regulatory compliance costs, SCDF will implement three-year Fire Certificate (FC) validity periods for renewal applications from 1 Apr 2026 onwards. Please refer to the SCDF Fire Certificate webpage for more information.
Due to operational considerations, the Civil Defence Heritage Gallery and Emergency Preparedness Centre will be closed from 4 March 2026. The weekly Saturday morning Fire Station Open House will also be closed from 7 March 2026 until further notice.

Fire at 29 Lembu Road

At 1748hrs, SCDF was alerted to a fire at 29 Lembu Road. SCDF resources which included 1 Fire Engine, 2 Firebikes, 1 Red Rhino, 1 Support Vehicle and 4 ambulances were dispatched to the location and arrived at the incident site within 8 minutes. Fire involved contents of a kitchen area in a restaurant. Fire was extinguished within 10 minutes upon arrival using one water jet.

SCDF conveyed 11 casualties in 4 ambulances to Singapore General Hospital for treatment.


The cause of the fire is being investigated.
