At 0020 hrs, SCDF was alerted to a fire involving the contents of a car spare parts workshop. SCDF resources which included 3 Fire Engines, 2 Red Rhinos, 2 Fire Bikes and 5 Support Vehicles was immediately deployed.

When SCDF personnel arrived, they found the workshop (approximately 20m x 20m) containing automobile spare parts, oil and grease products on fire. SCDF deployed water jets and prevented the fire from spreading to the neighbouring units. The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes.

The damage was largely confined to the front portion and roof of the workshop. No one was injured in the fire.
