Fire Incident at No.14, Sungei Kadut Street 6

SCDF was alerted to a case of fire at the above mentioned location at 9.52am. The above resources were dispatched and arrived within 6mins.

Upon SCDF arrival, the fire was raging and burning through the zinc roof of a single storey factory. The zinc roof fully collapsed as a result of the fire. The fire involved wood and metal products and the affected area is approximately 80m by 80m.

At the height of the operation, firefighters encircled the factory with a total of 7 jets, including the Unmanned Firefighting Machine for firefighting and penetration into the risk area. The fire was brought under control within an hour and damping down operations is still in progress. Search operations are still ongoing.
