Fire Incident at No. 86A Lorong 6 Geylang
SCDF was alerted to a case of fire at the above mentioned location at about 4am. Upon arrival within 5 minutes, black smoke was coming out of the second floor unit. SCDF fire fighters entered the unit with two water jets. Fire fighters found 2 persons lying motionless in one of the rooms. They were immediately brought out of the unit and were pronounced dead at scene by the paramedics.
The fire was extinguished within 30 minutes and SCDF also conveyed 3 other persons to Tan Tock Seng and Singapore General Hospital. The cause of fire is under investigation.
