Fire Incident at Golden Mile Complex

SCDF was alerted to a fire incident at Golden Mile Complex today at 1252 hrs. 3 Red Rhinos, 2 fire engines, 1 ambulance and 2 support appliances were immediately dispatched to the incident site. Firefighters extinguished the fire shortly after arrival. The fire involved an office unit on the 8th storey of the building. The office comprises 2 rooms each measuring about 3m by 3m. Firefighters used smoke extractors to clear the smoke within the corridors outside the unit involved.

SCDF paramedics attended to 1 male adult who complained of discomfort due to smoke inhalation. He was later conveyed to the SGH for medical follow-up.
