Fire Incident at 251 Yishun Ave 3

SCDF was alerted to a fire incident at the 251 Yishun Ave 3 at 1529 hrs this afternoon. SCDF arrived within 6 minutes of call and immediately conducted firefighting operations on level 1 and search operations at level 2. Fire was confined to a launderette and kitchen area approximately 25m by 5m in area at the rear section of the building on level 1. Fire was brought under control within 15 minutes with 3 jets. The cause of fire is being investigated.
