- An HFAD provides early warning of a fire. It is mandatory for new residential premises and existing residential premises carrying out fire safety works to install HFADs.

The Competent Person course aims to equip participants with the essential knowledge to better manage fire safety provisions and oversee fire safety management in a super high-rise premises. “Super high-rise residential building” refers to a residential building with more than 40 storeys/ levels.
