SCDF's Public Warning System (PWS) will be sounded island-wide during this year’s National Day (ND) celebrations.

 

The “All Clear” signal of the PWS will be sounded twice on 9 August. The first is at 10.30am, which signals the Anthem Moment. The second sounding is at 8.20pm, which signals the Pledge Moment.

 

As part of the rehearsal for the ND celebrations, the same signal will also be sounded twice on 1 August at 10.30am and 8.20pm. 

 

Each sounding will last for about 20 seconds. Please do not be alarmed.
