The CD Ready Homes Programme, a collaboration involving SCDF, National Fire and Emergency Preparedness Council (NFEC) and People"s Association (PA), aims to encourage residents to take ownership and learn Civil Defence skills. Through a self-validation checklist, residents are encouraged to assess their household"s level of emergency preparedness. This initiative would also help to strengthen family bonding and promote neighbourliness.
The checklist, in 4 different languages, is available for collection at fire stations, fire posts, HQ Civil Defence (CD) Divisions and Emergency Preparedness (EP) Days. View the online version of the booklet here.
