iPhone Apps

SCDF is producing four iPhone Applications on Fire Safety, Basic First Aid, CPR and Unconventional threats and peacetime emergencies.  This will provide iPhone and iPad users the flexibility to view emergency procedures via the interactive and step-by-step animation and videos.

The first Apps on Fire Safety will be rolled out on 4 December 2010.  It will teach the public important life-saving skills in fire prevention and safety.  Topics include what you should do when your clothes catch fire, how you should safely escape from a smoke-logged room and how to put out small fires using a fire extinguisher.

SCDF is partnering Singtel, Starhub and CityGas to run a contest for iPhone and iPad users who download the apps. They stand a chance to win attractive prizes (sponsored by CityGas) by participating in an online quiz here on www.scdf.gov.sg.
