Plan Submission Procedures for HDB, LTA & JTC on-going Project

 

The Fire Safety & Shelter Department (FSSD) will take over the fire safety functions currently performed by the Building Control Units (BCUs) of HDB, JTC and LTA with effect from 1 Oct 05. Please be informed that from this date, submissions of plans for fire safety works, applications for Temporary Fire Permit / Fire Safety Certificate and applications for Fire Certificates under the Fire Safety Act will have to be submitted to FSSD instead.

 

 

Under Section 23 of Fire Safety Act, all new submissions, including HDB’s, JTC’s and LTA’s projects, are to be accompanied by the required plan fees as prescribed in Part VI of the Fire Safety (Building Fire Safety) Regulations.

 

The following explanatory notes and flowchart will help QPs better understand the procedures for submissions to FSSD after centralisation of BCUs from 1 Oct 05.
