Senior FSM Course Details (Full-time)

The 10^th Senior FSM course is designed to train Fire Safety Managers that will be appointed as Senior Fire Safety Managers in complex premises. Participants will be introduced to topics such as evacuation dynamics, performance based fire safety and fire risk assessment. At the end of the course, participants should be able to:

1. Appreciate the intricacy of evacuating complex premises with high occupant load.
2. Understand the various Performance Based solutions and the need to maintain the intent of the fire protection features.
3. Conduct Fire Risk Assessment for their respective premises.

The participant must be a certified FSM and has at least 3 years working experience as an appointed FSM. Upon successful completion of the Senior Fire Safety Manager course, the participant will be eligible for a Senior FSM appointment.

• Course Application Period: 7 November 2022 (1000hrs)
• Course Period: 27 February 2023 to 9 March 2023
• Course will be conducted on: Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm
• Venue: Civil Defence Academy, 101 Jalan Bahar
• Course Fee: $769.33 (Inclusive of GST)
