From 1st Jan 2009, all entities registered in Singapore are to use their Unique Entity Number (UEN) to interact with major government agencies. The UEN acts like the NRIC number of a business entity for identification purposes.
CPF board has replaced the Employer Reference Number with a CPF Submission Number (CSN) with effect from December 08. The CSN comprises the UEN plus CPF Payment Code. The CPF Payment Code is used to identify the different types of payments that employers are making to the Board. Employers would be able to check their CSN by keying in their existing Employer Reference Number on an online search module available at www.cpf.gov.sg
As part of this government-wide initiative, SCDF has replaced the existing Employer Reference Number used by employers for our online eServices with the CSN with effect from 1st Jan 2009.
