Body Retrieved from Little Guilin Lake

This evening at 6.15 pm, SCDF was alerted to an incident at Little Guilin Lake along Bukit Batok East Avenue 5 for a reported case of person missing at the lake.

SCDF immediately dispatched 1 Fire Engine, 1 Red Rhino, 1 Ambulance, 1 Amphibious Vehicle (DART) & 4 support vehicles to the incident location and arrived within 4 minutes. Using the DART's Amphibious Vehicle (AV), SCDF divers conducted search around the location where the missing person was last seen.

SCDF DART personnel dived approximately 2 metres and found the body of a lady at approximately 7.20 pm. The body of the victim was located about 5 metres away from the bank.

The victim was pronounced dead by SCDF Paramedics.
