Emergency Exercise at Hitachi Semiconductor Singapore Pte Ltd

The Singapore Civil Defence Force will be conducting an emergency exercise at Hitachi Semiconductor Singapore Pte Ltd (1 Tampines Industrial Avenue 5) on Tuesday 27 February 2007 from 10.30pm to Wednesday 28 February 2007 1.00am. The exercise is anticipated to span a 2 ½-hour duration.

This emergency exercise will involve 20 SCDF vehicles as well as 120 SCDF personnel. This is part of SCDF’s continual efforts to familiarise our responders with emergency scenarios, thereby sharpening and enhancing our operational readiness.

SCDF would like to urge all members of public not to be alarmed as there will be movement of numerous emergency vehicles in the vicinity in the course of the exercise. Any inconvenience caused is also regretted.
