Road Traffic Accident Involving Two Lorries Along Jurong Port Road (In Front of SIS Building)

Today at 6.04am, SCDF was activated to a road traffic accident involving 2 lorries. This incident occurred along Jurong Port Road (in front of SIS Building). Upon alert, SCDF immediately dispatched 2 ambulances, 1 fire engine, 1 Red Rhino and 2 support vehicles to the incident location.

SCDF rescuers arrived at the incident site within 6 minutes after receiving the call. Upon arrival, rescuers found that one of the lorry drivers was trapped in the vehicle wreckage. He was extricated by SCDF Disaster Assistance Rescue Team (DART) rescuers using hydraulic tools. He was immediately conveyed to the National University Hospital (NUH) by an SCDF ambulance. He had sustained lower limb injuries.

The driver of the other lorry complained of back pain and was also conveyed to NUH by a SCDF ambulance.
