The Watermist Gun has proven its efficiency by being fully deployed at many fires around Singapore. The gun works by spraying the water out into a fine mist instead of spurting a jet of water as a conventional hose does. This project by Cpt Winston Chang and his team not only saves water, but can also put out a fire faster by reducing its oxygen supply.
This project was a joint collaboration with Aromatrix Technologies, on both TEC and internal funding.
