Fast Response Paramedics are basically paramedics on bikes. Ambulance response time is frequently compromised when traffic jams or peak hour traffic is encountered. In light of this problem, the Force implemented the FRP Scheme to provide a quicker way of reaching not only road accidents, but also patients in their homes. Supplementing the emergency ambulances, FRPs are able to move ahead through congested roads to reach patients swiftly. On average, FRPs are 4 to 5 minutes faster than ambulances. They are almost twice as effective when roads are congested, shaving off the crucial minutes between life and death in emergency cases. |
