Blackout Measures

Although a total blackout cannot prevent enemy air raids or shelling, it can reduce the enemy’s chances of success by limiting the identification and pin-pointing of targets.


Switch off all exterior lights.		Cover all outlets of interior light such as windows and doors with curtains.		Minimise vehicle headlights by covering them with black tape, leaving only a small area exposed.
