  1. What are the pre-requisites?

    - Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) version 4.0 and above / Netscape Communicator version 4.0 and above
    - Giro account with SCDF or Visa/Master card
    - SingPass (Previously known as CPF PAL PIN)

  1. Who can I contact if I need help in completing the registration form?

    You can contact the relevant Fire Safety & Shelter (FSSD) officers.

  2. How would I know if my application is successful?

    You will be notified by an acknowledgement page and a submission ID will be issued upon successful submission. You may then proceed to print out this page as an acknowledgement of your submission.

  3. How would I know my application status?

    Click on the link to check the status of your fire safety applications under the "Enquiry Status".

  1. How do I make an e-submission?

    General flow for e-submission is as follows:

    1. Fill up e-form -> 2. Attach documents if any -> 3. Confirmation -> 4. e-payment -> 5. Acknowledgement page

  2. What is the list of document attachments required for e-Services?

    Petroleum Storage (PS)

    None (all documents are optional)

    Fire Certificate (FC)

    Mandatory to attach FC02 [CERTIFICATE OF MAINTENANCE ] if 01-14 system selected.

  3. What is the maximum size of documents that can be attached during the e-submission?

    Each file attachment is limited up to 1.9MB. Please use JPG picture file format for your scanned plan attachment. The use of JPG picture file format would be helpful to keep the attachment file size within the 1.9MB limit.

  4. When will the e-submission be processed?

    All files submitted before 5pm will be sent for processing on the same day. Those received after 5pm will only be processed the following day.

  5. Will there be any acknowledgement for the submission?

    Yes, you will receive an immediate online acknowledgement letter with a submission ID indicated in the acknowledgement letter.

  6. What are the modes of payment available? Can we pay by cheque?

    All payments for new applications must be made through Credit Card or eNETS.

    Payment for renewal applications can be made through GIRO deduction or Credit Card or eNETS.

    Cheques however, will not be accepted.

    GIRO payment is only applicable if you have an existing GIRO account with SCDF. With a valid GIRO reference number issued by SCDF, you are able to use this payment mode.

    For new Giro payment you need to download, complete and submit the Interbank Giro application form.

  7. Will I receive a Record of Payment?

    Yes, if payment is made by Credit Card or eNETS.

    If payment is made via GIRO, FSSD will send a letter indicating the status of the GIRO deduction.
